These Rugs have proved to be the most popular product I am currently selling.
The reason being, they are nothing short of fantastic, with real quality workmanship being worked into the Fabric. The designs & colours that are used are simply beautiful. The only problem most people who have purchased a Rug has said is that it is almost too beautiful to stand on.
However this does not need to be an issue. True, you could use it as an art wall hanging which a lot of people do, but they are designed as Rugs to be used in this way. They are non-slip as they have a heavy canvas backing, whilst the Pure Wool has been dyed at yarn level using natural dyes, so the colour remains for years so long as you don't clean them with chemicals!! And stains are not a problem - just wash in circles using warm water & NON-CHEMICAL soap.

These Rugs are produced in the homes of the craftsmen making them a true cottage industry. The designs that I have are exclusive to one merchant that I buy from. You wont find this quality & design of rugs anywhere else.

For those of you who know your embroidery, chainstitch work is the same as crewel work, however crewel is never heavy embroidered, but rather has gaps in the design, whereas chainstitch is full embroidered.

In addition to the actual designs, the chainstitch is worked in circular patterns, so where you have a patch of one colour, the rug is given another dimension with these intricate patterns worked in (I have often thought it reminds me of a Van Gogh painting).

Note: The yarn used is 100% Heavy Wool, but the canvas it is embroidered onto is made of heavy cotton not wool as this keeps the design in place - so when I call this 100% Pure Wool Rugs, this is true for the part of you see and stand on.
If the canvas was also made from wool, the Rug wouldn't last a minute!!!

The price of the Rugs depends on the size. The price/size list is below:
